Duane Burris

Regional Director

Duane Burris has been credentialed with the Missionary Church since 2008 and served as co-Pastor at Life Community since 2006.  He currently serves on the board of Dave DeSelm Ministries and previously served on the boards of the REB and Forgotten Children Worldwide. Duane enjoys leadership, working in a team, and is passionate about seeing the kingdom move forward through the local church. He grew up in Fort Wayne, IN, and became a Christian at the age of 9.  He graduated from Summit Christian/Taylor University with a BA in Pastoral Ministries/Bible and from Bethel University with a Master of Ministry.  Duane has been married to his best friend, Megan, for 31 years and has four adult children. Tim Johnson

Director of Pastoral Care

Tim has served in regional leadership since 2012. He and his wife Jeannie ministered in Japan for 25 years before assuming his current role, where they were involved in mission leadership, MK education, missionary member care, and leading camps. Travis Geisel

Nextgen Ministries Coordinator

Travis serves NextGen ministries across the Central Region with a mission to engage, equip, and empower emerging leaders. Along with supporting kids, pastors, and student pastors, Travis provides leadership to Summer Camps (BLAST, Middle School, High School), Internship Cohort, and other initiatives that are focused on GenZ.

Travis and his wife, Lindsay, find great joy in parenting their children (Benaiah, Ezekiel, Morley, Mabel, and Micha) and spending time together at the baseball field. The Geisels live in Fort Wayne and attend Pathway Community Church. Contact Travis at travis@centralregionmc.org.

 
 
 
 

Liz Villatoro

Ministry Services Coordinator

Liz Villatoro joined the Central Region team in April 2024 and serves in a variety of leadership support roles. She oversees the region's financial and administrative functions, supports the Regional Director, and provides assistance to Latino pastors and leaders throughout the Central Region. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Liz helps strengthen communication and connection across our diverse ministry network. She attends Life Community Church and is the proud mother of two daughters, Grace & Ruth.
